Spotahome are pleased to offer Landlords the following guarantee at no additional cost.
The guarantee covers the Landlord against the following:
Damages - In the event that the Tenant causes damages to the property in excess of the deposit amount, Spotahome will cover the Landlord for up to €500.
The guarantee does not cover labour costs, cosmetic damages, transportation or taxes (VAT) and the following items are excluded: art, jewelry, money and personal items such as computers, tablets, wallets or clothes.
Early Exit - In the event that the Tenant leaves the property before the original departure date without the Landlord’s consent and without paying the outstanding amount, Spotahome will have 30 days to find a new Tenant.
If Spotahome is unable to find a new Tenant, we will cover up to 30 days rent if the deposit is insufficient to cover this.
If you need to make a claim on the guarantee, you will need to contact us at email@example.com within five calendar days of the incident and send documentation including photographic evidence, a copy of the rental contract and a copy of the deposit receipt within seven calendar days.
