If you wish to change the price of your property listing, you can do so directly in the Listings section of the Landlord Panel.
Step One - Find the listing you want to edit. The easiest way to do this is using the “Quick Find” search engine at the top of the page and search by address.
Step Two - Once you have found the listing you want to update, click on the button.
Step Three - Select the option to open the Price module
Step Four - You will now be able to edit the price of your listings. You have two different pricing options to choose from:
Fixed Price
Enter the price in the Monthly Rent field to set a fixed price and then click on the “Save” button to confirm the changes.
Seasonal Price*
If you want to set a Seasonal Price (this will allow you to adjust the price depending on the month) you will need to use the Seasonal Pricing toggle. You will then need to input the price for each month of the year. Remember to click the “Save” button to confirm any changes.
*We recommend when possible using the fixed price option. Our data shows that tenants are more likely to book a property where the price is fixed compared to a property where the price fluctuates due to seasonality
In order to modify the deposit, you will need to access the listings section in the Landlord Panel by selecting the icon.
If you have multiple property listings, you can use the “Quick Find” feature to easily find the property listing you are looking to edit by searching for the address of the property.
Select the “Edit” button and then select the “Prices” option.
You will have the following options available to set the deposit amount:
You are able to set the deposit using ½ months rent increments upto a maximum of 3 months’ rent (note: in London the maximum deposit permitted is 1.5 months rent).
You can also choose the following options:
No deposit required - Select this option when you do not want to include a security deposit
Fixed amount - This option can be used if you want to set a fixed deposit amount in the local currency where the property is located. If you choose this deposit type, the amount of the deposit must not exceed the equivalent to 3 months’ rent (or 1.5 months in London).
We recommend not exceeding the maximum deposit shown in our Landlord Policies recommendation help center article to ensure the conditions of your property are competitive with market conditions.
